Copland meadows was a small project with a very challenging access. This studio / garden room had timber clad walls internally using redwood tongue and groove and externally clad with treated shiplap. It had a cedar shingle roof and exposed Douglas fir beans on the inside.
"Shackleton Construction have built a beautiful timber frame studio in our garden. The site presented significant challenges – not least excavating six skips of subsoil and subsequently shoring up the building area – all carried out in a professional manner. The team provided valuable input into the architect’s design and then went ahead with the building work efficiently, with thorough attention to detail. The result is first class – we are delighted!"
